We made it to Beijing.

Hi everyone,
We are happy to post from our hotel in Beijing, the flights went really well. We home around 6am and got to Beijing at 2pm on the 16th. We are now 12 hours ahead in time. Our plane actually flew from Newark over the North Pole and down into China, we saw lots of snow and it never got dark on the entire trip (so it was hard convincing the kids they had to sleep).

Flying time was a lot faster than on past trips and that was really nice when traveling with the kids. When we adopted Nyla 4 years ago (tomorrow actually), the nanny told us she loves to watch TV. Well she hasn't changed much since, she watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory about 5 times on the flight over. Liam on the other hand, refuses to watch movies of any kind! So I just want to say a big thanks to all the people who gave us stuff to entertain the kids on the flight, they both enjoyed it! Also, thanks Kim and Jenn for the ride to Buffalo, hope you had fun shopping afterwards.

The kids did sleep for a few hours before we landed, but it was 2am at home and they are really tired. We are trying to keep them up until 9 or so, have to run and bring them to the pool, they are starting to fade. We are supposed to go to the Great Wall tomorrow, I will try to post pictures if I can. Peace, love!
